Goncharenko Valentina Yakovlevna was born in the Donetsk region (Ukraine). She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. She had exhibitions in the Soviet Union, Ukraine and abroad. Works from Goncharenko have been sold amongst others at Sotheby's - Amsterdam.
She became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1970).
